BLPaudio (Brett Leonard Producitons audio) is the production company founded by the entrepreneurial young engineer Brett Leonard. Since BLPaudio's founding, the company has grown into a collection of ambitious young audio professionals from all areas of specialization, dedicated to technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
In order to provide high quality services, BLPaudio is dedicated to formal, technical education. Many of BLPaudio's contractors are recent graduates or even current graduate students. This provides our clients with engineers that have an advanced knowledge of the latest techniques and the most cutting edge technologies in the world.
In addition to being dedicated to education, we believe that experience is incredibly important to providing the best possible services to our customers. That's why many of BLPaudio's contractors are active freelancers in the recording, studio installation and sound reinforcement fields.
Some call us the up-and-coming of the audio field, some call us the next generation, but you can call us BLPaudio.
Brett Leonard, Founder
Brett Leonard, an engineer and installation and repair technician, founded BLPaudio in 2006 as an umbrella for his work both inside and out of the studio. After starting the venture, Brett began to work closely with colleagues in different areas of the music business, creating the collective that is BLPaudio.
Brett specializes in classical and jazz music recording, with a fondness for live concert and location recording. With a Bachelor's of Arts in Music from California Lutheran University, a summer at the Aspen Music Festival's Edgar Stanton Audio Recording Institute, and a Master's in Music Technology at New York University in progress, Brett has had the opportunity to study with many of the industry's best and brightest.
